Capturing Your Toddler's Real Smile

Capturing a toddler's genuine smile is somewhat of an art form.  If you ask a toddler to smile for a picture (the dreaded "say cheese" method) you get an awkward smile that looks more like she's in pan rather than even close to happy (see second photo below).  I've got two tricks for getting a great toddler smile.  #1--Have her daddy (or anyone who's silly) stand beyind the photographer to try and make her laugh.  #2--Get her to make a silly face, react like it's the silliest face you've ever seen, and snap your picture as she is enjoying your reaction.  My poor toddler is so over being the subject of my pictures (as seen in the first couple of photos below), but these tricks still seem to work (as seen in the last).  Happy Friday...have a great weekend!
