Could be crazy, could be fun!

That's what she said in her email.  "What do you think about a photo shoot with 12 cousins?  Could be crazy.  Could be fun."  I was up for the challenge so she coordinated with the other families and we met out at the Coon Rapids Dam area (which is beautiful by the way and has a lot of great spots for photos).  The kiddos ranged from age one to age fifteen and they were wonderful!  So great to see the older cousins so helpful with the younger ones and every single one of them was such a good listener!  The outcome of this session was a Christmas gift for their grandma, so I had to wait until after the holidays to share their pics.  Here they are!  A full dozen...and I'd say it was more fun than crazy!  :)

  1. Hi Heidi...I'm sure someone in the family could provide a better answer, but from what I understood, they are the kids' birth numbers. They represent the order they were born in that generation of the family...so the littlest one there is the 93rd baby in that generation...not a small extended family by any stretch of the imagination! :)

  2. You got it, Stacey. It is not just babies, spouses get numbers too. The grandparents are 1 and 2. When someone enters the family (by marriage or birth) they get their number. These kids are great-grandchildren.
