Details of an 8-month old Caleb

This idea was completely inspired by Karen Feder, an amazing photographer who has taken my family's photos a few different times.  When she does a wedding, she always blogs about the details of the wedding...the little things that make the day personal for the bride and groom.  Well, I love it and was inspired to use the same idea with Caleb (and eventually will do it for Mackenna too).  I spent the morning taking photos of the little things that are important to Caleb and about Caleb right now at 8 months old.  Little things that I don't want to forget...that his sweet little cheeks need a daily dose of Aquaphor to beat the winter chapped-look...that he's sporting size 12-18 month jeans a little earlier than most 8 month olds are...that he FINALLY is sleeping with a bumper on his crib because I got around to fixing it for him...he has two perfect little bottom teeth...he's refusing a bottle but mastering a sippy cup...current favorite foods: Mum-Mums, Cheerios and puffs....the paci is a necessity for fussy times...I love the dimples on the back of his hand and I know they won't always be there...the favorite blankie...his favorite past time is emptying toys from a bin over and over...I love how his little toes curl together when he sits...he's currently wearing size 3 Luvs...and I had to document that sweet head of hair because let's face it, his big sister didn't have that much hair until well after 1 year old!
