Baby T -- newborn session

Baby T's newborn session was technically already the fourth time I'd photographed him.  I had already photographed him tucked in his mama's belly for a maternity session.  I was lucky enough to capture his very first photo when I photographed his birth in the hospital.  And I returned to the hospital to do a "First 48" session the next day.  So we already knew each other pretty well and he was very cooperative for me. :)

All of these images were taken at Baby T's home.  I love the comfort and intimacy of an at-home newborn session. If you know someone whose baby will be arriving soon, I'd love to chat with them about their baby's first (or fourth) photo shoot!  

 

Baby G -- 9 months old

Baby G is one of my milestone babies, so we see each other every few months and I get to follow him around with my camera while he shows me all his new tricks!  I've been so lucky to photograph both Baby G and his beautiful big sister throughout their first years.  He kills me with those blue eyes and his smirky smile.  Such a beautiful boy!  Can I also mention really quick how much I love photographing your babies in your own home?  I think there's something really sweet and authentic about photographing a child in their own space!  Ok...enjoy some images of this oh-so-adorable boy!

Baby T's Birth Story

March third, two thousand fourteen. 

An amazing day for the G family.  They welcomed their first child, a beautiful little boy, into their family.  They became a family of three.  Their hearts grew with a love they never knew they could feel.

Thank you for inviting me to photograph Baby T's birthday.  Truly one of the most amazing experiences of my life...to be present the moment two of my best friends became parents.  Love you both and that little boy of yours too!  <3

Baby L--6 months

This is my second time photographing sweet Baby L and I could not get over how sweet and smiley he was!  Not to mention extremely handsome, but look at the rest of his family...they ought to be on a magazine cover, don't you think?  I'll just get straight to the pictures...  (Check out Baby L's newborn session here.)
